ABOUT ADRYENN CANTOR
Adryenn Cantor, who has been an attorney for over 30 years, became the Founder and Director of Legal Alternatives Mediation Services in 1993 and since that time has assisted people who want to resolve their conflicts without going to court. She made this decision after becoming a preeminent trial attorney and understanding that often there is too little justice in our justice system. A decade later, after realizing that her distinct talents could be used in litigation, as well as mediation, she reopened her Family Law litigation practice in San Diego, California, to assist people who require litigation with integrity. She is also trained in Collaborative Law, which allows her to assist those parties who want to use this "team approach" when getting divorced.
Almost 25 years ago, Adryenn Cantor became a Certified Family Law Specialist in California and is the past Chair of the Family Law Section of the California State Bar, the past Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee for Southern California for the California State Bar, and the former Mediation Editor for the State Bar Family Law News. After devising her own mediation paradigm, Adryenn Cantor has been training others to mediate in California and Nevada since 1992.
Adryenn Cantor also shared her mediation techniques as an Adjunct Professor teaching Advanced Family Law Mediation and heading a Dispute Resolution Clinic in a newly revised Master of Arts Behavioral Science Graduate Program, entitled "Negotiation and Conflict Management Options," at California State University, Dominguez Hills, College of Arts and Sciences.
